This link if for a fundraiser that is very near and dear to our hearts….we walk every year for the PKD Foundation….we continue to pray for a cure…our walk is in Sacramento on Sunday September 29th…we have one of our children that has been tested and does not have PKD and 2 more that have not yet been tested….the testing is expensive so they will have it done as they can. We would appreciate anyone who can to go to this link on Tim’s account and make any donation that you can or even come and walk with us. Thank you for all your support thru the process of Tim’s surgery and recovery……we will continue to support this foundation as long as there is a cure waiting to be found. 6 months post transplant
Yesterday was 6 months since Tim’s transplant…he is doing amazing…back to his old self
All looking good
Drs wanted Tim’s Creatinine to be between 1.4 and 1.5, normal is up to 1.33, this is now the lowest that his Creatinine has been. Some of his meds were recently reduced which has helped the level to go down. Tim is feeling great and we feel so blessed.

9 weeks and counting
So…first getaway since surgery….since it was my (Julie) birthday, we headed to Murphy’s for the weekend….just getting away and spending time together is awesome….we drove over to Black Oak Casino and checked it out and had lunch there….Tim is selling his Jeep and we replaced it with his dream car….it’s a 2015 Challenger…..can’t afford the classic one, so we went with the new version, we love it!! Then we came home on Sunday which was my actual birthday, and our kids fixed us an awesome dinner and we all went into our silo on the ranch and did a little Sunday Gunday therapy….had fun shooting some cans of shaving cream…..Tim and I love having our family with us as much as possible……thank you all for following Tim’s progress….he has been building a deck on the back of our house and doing plenty of yard work…..you just can’t stop this guy….LOL…..he went back to work at 6 weeks, which keeps his busy too. Below are pics of our grandkids…..Jett who as you can see loves his little sister is 4 1/2 and Peyton just turned one on March 26th, and thats their beautiful mama, our oldest daughter Ashley. This is just a portion of our amazing family.
7 weeks post transplant
So…Dr said everything looks great…they’ll do an ultrasound just to take a look and then we can go to their satellite office in Modesto next time…thank goodness, cause we aren’t SF people…what a grueling day of driving in traffic…left home at 7:30am and back in Lodi at 5pm…from parking to appt and back we were only there an hour and 15 minutes…then our lunch stop..the rest was in the 🚘….😳
